Opportunity โ Carpenter
Reporting directly to the Site Superintendent and Project Manager, as a carpenter with DORA Construction, you will be building communities that make an impact. A vital part of the construction team, DORA Construction is currently looking for experienced carpenters with a focus on safety, who are proud to go to work and make a difference each day.

Position Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
-
Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.

Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
-
Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
-
Follow compliance with local building codes, health, and safety regulations.
-
Provide excellent customer service.
-
Build foundations, install floor systems, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Other tasks as assigned by the Site Superintendent.

Position Qualifications
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

High School Diploma.
-
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of four years of experience as a journey-level carpenter.

Knowledge of mathematics.

$25-35 per hour, based on experience.
